General
- Save all work files and assets in the Dropbox Client Folder
- Exception: Very large files (e.g. Video Footage), these can be backed up locally
- Always save all working files as source files, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Sketch, After Effects, Cinema4D files
- Always move Figma files into the according project within the Human Deluxe Team. Do not run work files in your Drafts folder
Folder Structure & File names
- Each client gets a folder inside our Dropbox
- If we have multiple major projects with one client, we have multiple subfolders
- Each client/project folders has the following structure:
- Client
- Legal
- Brand Package
- Website Assets
- Client
- Each new project or feature goes into a seperate folder of the following structure:
- YYYY-MM-DD feature name keyword e.g.:
- 2023-08-01 website menu dark
- 2023-08-22 print brochure illustration
- Save source files, print assets or client assets within these folders. These files should be named like the following:
client-project-feature-DDDD-MM-YY.ext- e.g.:
- erblotse-website-animation.c4d
- tiny-monsters-logo-iteration-2023-10-11.psd
- Website assets should be saved into the “Website Assets” folder, this includes icons, background images, logos. These files should be named to match keywords:
- carbonfuture-logo.png
- background-home.png Use descriptive words and avoid spaces or non UTF-8 characters
