Your First Day

Welcome to Human Deluxe! On your first day, it is all about gettting to know the team and your workspace.

Office

You will receive a key for the office. Please sign the «Schlüsselübergabeprotokoll» that comes with it.

You will also receive an office tour by a colleague – don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

Get a tea or coffee, get a bottle of water and make yourself comfortable

Computer & Phone

If you haven’t yet, now would be the time to set up your computer. If you are working on a device provided by Human Deluxe, boot it up and follow the instructions as stated on screen.

Connect to the WiFi «HVI 5GHz».

Accounts

Set up the accounts as you will receive invitations through your private email and, once set up, your Human Deluxe email. This includes:

Google Workspace

In your private email, you will find an invitation to the Human Deluxe Google Workspace. Please log in and make sure you complete the following tasks:

• Activate your Human Deluxe email
• Activate Google Drive
• Get access to the Human Deluxe Weekly slides
• Activate your Google Calendar

If needed, download any official Google desktop or mobile apps.

Slack

In your Human Deluxe email, you will find an invite to the Human Deluxe Slack. Get access and complete the following tasks:

• Download and install the desktop client. Optionally, install the mobile client as well.
• Complete your profile including name, picture etc.
• Browse the Slack channels for anything interesting or relevant
• Say «Hi» to your team in #allgemein

Dropbox

If you don’t have a paid Dropbox account, we will provide one. In your Human Deluxe email, you will find an invite to Dropbox. Get access and complete the following tasks:

• Install the Dropbox client on your computer
• Get access to the Human Deluxe Client Folder
• Read through the File Management document in this handbook

Trello

In your Human Deluxe email, you will find an invite to the Human Deluxe Trello Workspace. Get access and complete the following tasks:

• Become a member of the relevant boards (Your manager will provide this info for you)

Adobe Creative Cloud & Other Software

If you need access to Creative Cloud or other tools, please check with your manager. They will provide all the necessary licenses for you.

Get to Know Your Team

On your first day, spend some time to get to know your team a bit. Get invited to team lunch.
