Brand Design Process

Purpose

This is for people working in brand design at Human Deluxe

Goal

Create world-class brand projects for our clients, from start to finish.

Before your start

Make sure that you have a complete briefing, client documentation and [[How to get content|content]] ready. Seek client feedback in between each phase and iteration.

Steps to Take

1. Create a new Figma document inside the client project in our workspace. Name it “Client Website” and create the following pages (you can add more later if needed):
   1. Overview
   2. Research
   3. Concept
   4. Design
2. Research: Educate yourself about the client, product and market. Find examples of matching websites or those that were mentioned in the discovery workshop.
3. Concept: Create a sketch and visual ideas for the brand design of your client.
4. Design:
   1. Define a [[Logo Design]]

   2. Define [[Choosing Type

      typography]]

   3. Define [[Choosing Colors]]
   4. Create various lockups
   5. Create a key visual
   6. Create sample implementations
5. Implementation: Create a brand guide and logo package

6. Launch: Officially launch the [[Set up a Client Style Guide
